The 411 - Funky Sensations

Is a reincarnation of a very special time in music history. We @ OHM & The Underground Network are going to present a series of showcases and parties featuring the fantastic funk music of the 70's. The events will be held in New York City starting in the spring of 2006.  The theme will be centered around the whole culture of that marvelous era, from bellbottoms, to Afro's, hip huggers to mini skirts, platform shoes to black light posters. We will feature live performances from some of the original bands that made this music famous such as The Ohio Players, Brass Construction, Gap Band, Lakeside, Average White Band, Confunkshon, Kool & The Gang, War, and Mandrill. We will also show original movie clips from classic films such as Foxy Brown to Shaft, Cleopatra Jones to Super Fly, Cotton Comes to Harlem to Come Back Charleston Blue and many more.  Last but not least we will have incredible DJ's that will that will have you dancing till the break of dawn and beyond.
